ST IVES

I lived in Carbis Bay for 13 years and love St Ives with its beautiful harbour and little cobbled streets.
The view of the harbour never fails to uplift me, and it is still always such a delight to round the bend of the Malakoff and see the harbour below me, glistening in sunshine or shrouded in mist.
My first print was of St Ives Harbour at low tide.
This was followed by my first set of six prints, which show the places in St Ives that I am expecially fond of, and are peopled by some of the characters I’ve heard about.
My friend Amanda’s grandparents, ‘Da Perkin’ and ‘Nanna Tanner’. Also in my prints you can spot Tugger, my little dog, who was almost always at my side. Sadly, he has gone now, but lives on in my prints.
